Yes, an E-Way Bill can be cancelled within 24 hours of generation if goods are not transported or if there's an error. After 24 hours, cancellation is not allowed and you must continue with the existing EWB or wait for it to expire.

Part A contains consignment details — invoice, value, GSTIN of supplier and recipient, HSN, etc. Part B contains transport details — vehicle number, transporter ID, mode of transport. Both parts must be filled before goods can move legally.

If EWB expires due to genuine reasons (breakdown, accident, natural calamity), the validity can be extended once for an additional period equal to the original validity. Bizmitra makes this extension a one-click process.
